ZB Loyalty Points & Wallet Terms

1. Overview

ZB Travel offers a Loyalty Points (“Points”) that rewards eligible users with ZB Loyalty Points (“Points”) for qualifying activities. Points are managed through the ZB Wallet (“Wallet”), which records all transactions, balances, redemptions, and expiries. By using the Points or Wallet, you agree to these terms in addition to our general Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • Only registered users with a verified email account can earn or redeem Points.
  • Guest or unverified accounts are not eligible.
  • Enrollment in the Points is automatic upon registration.

3. Earning Points

You can earn Points through the following activities:

  • Booking Confirmed and Stay Completed: You earn points only when you make a confirmed booking, however, the points are credited post check-out upon successful completion of stay.
  • Profile Completion: One-time bonus for fully completing your profile.
  • Review Submission: Points credited after your review is approved.

Points awarded per booking depend on your booking value. See the Booking Value Slab in Schedule A below.

4. Redeeming Points

  • Minimum redemption: 100 Points.
  • Redemption value: 100 Points = USD $1 equivalent.
  • Redemption increments: multiples of 100 Points.
  • Maximum redemption per booking: 1000 Points (USD $10 equivalent).
  • Redemption requires a minimum booking value of USD $200.
  • Redemption can be applied once per booking and cannot be changed after payment.
  • Redemption values are calculated in USD and converted to your display currency using real-time exchange rates.

5. Wallet Features

  • The Wallet shows your available balance, total earned, redeemed, and expiring soon Points.
  • All earning, redemption, expiry, reversals, and admin adjustments are logged.
  • Redemption follows a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) system — older Points are used first.
  • Wallet balances cannot go negative.

6. Expiry of Points

  • Points are valid for 12 months from the date earned.
  • Expiry occurs automatically at midnight server time on the due date.
  • Expiry follows FIFO (oldest Points expire first).
  • Expired Points cannot be reinstated.
  • We will notify you before expiry: 60 days, 30 days, and 7 days before.

7. Booking Cancellations & Reversals

  • Redeemed Points on cancelled bookings are not refunded.
  • If payment fails, no redemption occurs and Points remain in your Wallet.

8. Adjustments & Restrictions

  • We may adjust Points (add or deduct) to correct errors, prevent fraud, or resolve customer service issues.
  • Points:
    • have cash value,
    • are non-transferable,
    • cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  • Fraudulent or abusive activity (e.g., fake bookings, duplicate accounts) may lead to forfeiture of Points and suspension of Wallet access.

9. Changes & Termination

We may modify or terminate the Loyalty Points or Wallet at any time, with or without notice. Any unused or expired Points will be forfeited at termination.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for delays, technical issues, or losses related to earning, redeeming, or expiring Points. Our total liability in connection with the Points or Wallet is limited to the value of your active Points balance at the time of the issue.
